Finding and organizing your content

The Stories Library holds the same information as the Calendar but in a linear format. It houses all of your content in a more comprehensive archive. The stories library is an easily filterable archive of all stories in Contently. This is how you browse content and view stories more cumulatively.

This is a centralized location for all of your content. It allows you to browse content on a wider scale and helps define what you'd like to focus on editorially.

If you click the settings gear here, you're able to customize your view and filter what you see. you can choose up to 7 of these here. These settings are customizable to each individual and can vary per team member.

The “Customize Your View" window will appear; click in the boxes with information relevant to you:

You can easily "Filter" stories using the toolbar on the right side of your screen. Your filtering options on the right hand side allow for you to filter by format, who it was created by, status of the content, who it's assigned to, date, ect.

In addition to the filters, you can view your library in the preset buckets that list upcoming, current, and overdue stories:

Additionally, you have the ability to download your listed view as an Excel spreadsheet. This button is found in the upper righthand corner of stories view, just above the filters:
