How can I control who sees projects on my portfolio?

In the world of content marketing, you not might want all of your projects to be visible to everyone who views your portfolio. For example, maybe you ghost wrote a piece for a CEO or created internal communications for a major corporation. These projects shouldn't be visible to everyone who takes a look at your profile, but they should still be visible to Contently in case a client is looking for similar expertise.

"View as" setting

On the main portfolio page, you can select to view your portfolio as "Everyone" or "Contently only." This filter allows you to view your portfolio as a public user or as a Contently employee or client to double-check that certain projects are being seen by the right people. Please note, this is not the way to set the visibility settings for your portfolio and the filter will automatically reset to "Contently only." The only way to change the visibility settings for each of your projects is to follow the instructions below.

Editing visibility for each project

Upon clicking the "Edit or add projects button" on your portfolio screen, you'll be taken to your list of projects. To the right of each project is a small lock icon. Clicking this icon allows you to toggle whether a given project is visible to everyone or just to Contently.
