How can I customize my analytics dashboard?

When you visit the analytics overview page, click the "Add Card" button to customize your dashboard with different types of metrics.

 

You can pivot each metric by a variety of options. Below is a complete list of the Production Analytics and Performance Analytics cards that you can create.

 

Production analytics cards

These metrics help you see how efficient your content creation process is.

  • Average completed story price: The average price of all stories with payment completed during a specific date range. 

  • Average completed story price by audience: The average price of a story created for each audience during a specific date range.

  • Average completed story price by contributor: The average price of a story marked complete by each contributor during a specific date range. 

  • Average completed story price by day: The average price of a story completed on each day during a specific date range.

  • Average completed story price by pillar: The average price of a story created for each pillar during a specific date range.

  • Average completed story price by tag group: The average price of a story created for each tag in a chosen tag group during a specific date range.

  • Completed paid story price: The total price paid for all stories completed during a specific date range. 

  • Completed paid story price by audience: The total price paid for all stories created for each audience during a specific date range.

  • Completed paid story price by contributor: The total price paid for all stories marked complete by each contributor during a specific date range.

  • Completed paid story price by day: The total price paid for all stories completed on each day during a specific date range.

  • Completed paid story price by pillar: The total price paid for all stories created for each pillar during a specific date range.

  • Completed paid story price by tag group: The total price paid for all stories created for each tag in a chosen tag group during a specific date range.

  • Content plan by all pillars: The number of planned, in progress, and completed stories per pillar during a specific date range. 

  • Content plan by pillar: The number of planned, in progress, and completed stories per content type for a chosen pillar during a specific date range.

  • Pitch acceptance rate: The percentage of pitches accepted during a specific date range.

  • Pitches accepted: The total number of pitches accepted during a specific date range.

  • Pitches accepted by audience: The total number of pitches accepted for each audience during a specific date range.

  • Pitches accepted by contributor: The total number of pitches accepted by each contributor during a specific date range.

  • Pitches accepted by pillar: The total number of pitches accepted for each pillar during a specific date range.

  • Pitches accepted by tag group:  he total number of pitches accepted for each tag in a chosen tag group during a specific date range.

  • Pitches created: The total number of pitches created during a specific date range.

  • Pitches created by audience: The total number of pitches created for each audience during a specific date range.

  • Pitches created by contributor: The total number of pitches created by each contributor during a specific date range.

  • Pitches created by pillar: The total number of pitches created for each pillar during a specific date range.

  • Pitches created by tag group: The total number of pitches created for each tag in a chosen tag group during a specific date range.

  • Pitches declined: The total number of pitches declined during a specific date range.

  • Pitches declined by audience: The total number of pitches declined for each audience during a specific date range.

  • Stories completed: The total number of stories completed during a specific date range.

These metrics help you track things like visitors, attention time, and finish rate, which give you insight into how many people are visiting, reading, and engaging with your content.

  • Attention time: The total number of minutes readers spent actively reading stories during a specific date range. 

  • Attention time by audience: The total number of minutes readers spent actively reading stories created for each audience during a specific date range.

  • Attention time by contributor: The total number of minutes readers spent actively reading stories created by each contributor during a specific date range. 

  • Attention time by pillar: The total number of minutes readers spent actively reading stories created for each pillar during a specific date range. 

  • Attention time by source: The total number of minutes readers from each traffic source spent actively reading stories during a specific date range.  

  • Attention time by story type: The total number of minutes readers spent actively reading each story type during a specific date range.

  • Attention time by tag group: The total number of minutes readers spent actively reading stories created for each tag in a chosen tag group during a specific date range.

  • Average attention time per engaged story: The average number of minutes readers spent actively reading stories that two or more people read in a single day during a specific date range.

  • Average attention time per person: The average number of minutes each reader spent actively reading stories during a specific date range.

  • Engagement rate by contributor: The percentage of people who engaged for at least 15 seconds with stories created by each contributor during a specific date range.

  • Engagement rate by device type: The percentage of people who engaged with a story for at least 15 seconds from each device type during a specific date range. 

  • Engagement rate by pillar: The percentage of people who engaged for at least 15 seconds with stories created for each pillar during a specific date range.

  • Engagement rate by all sources: The percentage of people from each traffic source who engaged with stories for at least 15 seconds during a specific date range.

  • Engagement rate by source: The percentage of people who engaged with stories for at least 15 seconds by content type for a chosen traffic source during a specific date range.

  • Engagement rate by story type: The percentage of people who engaged for at least 15 seconds with stories by each story type during a specific date range. 

  • Engagement rate by tag group: The percentage of people who engaged for at least 15 seconds with stories created for each tag in a chosen tag group during a specific date range.

  • People: The number of people who visited a piece of content from a unique device during a specific date range. If a person visits the same piece of content multiple times from the same device, they will be counted as one person.

  • People by audience: The number of people from a unique device who read stories created for each audience during a specific date range. 

  • People by contributor: The number of people from a unique device who read stories created by each contributor during a specific date range.

  • People by device type: The number of people from a unique device who read stories from each device type during a specific date range. 

  • People by pillar: The number of people from a unique device who read stories created for each pillar during a specific date range.

  • People by all sources: The number of people from each traffic source who read stories from a unique device during a specific date range.

  • People by source: The number of people who read stories from a unique device by content type for a chosen traffic source during a specific date range.

  • People by story type: The percentage of people who engaged for at least 15 seconds with stories by each story type during a specific date range. 

  • People by tag group: The percentage of people who engaged for at least 15 seconds with stories created for each tag in a chosen tag group during a specific date range.

  • Returning People: This metric is related to People (see above), and shows you how many People visited your content more than once. For example, if your filtered date range is 30 days, we'll show you how many people came multiple times in that range. This is a great way to gather insights into your loyal audience.
